
Dr. Anusha Polukonda is a second-generation Ayurvedic practitioner from southern India, deeply rooted in the authentic traditions of Ayurveda. She completed her 5½-year Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from the prestigious Dr. BRKR Govt Ayuvedic medical college under Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.
Driven by her passion for deeper clinical knowledge, she went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurveda, specialising in Kaya Chikitsa (Internal Medicine of Ayurveda) from the same university after securing a top rank in the Telangana state entrance examination.
Through her rigorous academic training, Dr. Anusha gained extensive knowledge of both classical Ayurvedic wisdom and contemporary medical sciences, enabling her to approach health from a truly integrative perspective.
During her academic years, she actively participated in state and national health service initiatives, delivering Ayurvedic care to communities in remote and rural regions of India. She also played an important role as a key coordinator in designing wellness programs and expanding Ayurvedic healthcare services for rural populations.
