Dr. Anusha Polukonda is a second-generation Ayurvedic practitioner from southern India, deeply rooted in the authentic traditions of Ayurveda. She completed her 5½-year Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from the prestigious Dr. BRKR Govt Ayuvedic medical college under Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

Driven by her passion for deeper clinical knowledge, she went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurveda, specialising in Kaya Chikitsa (Internal Medicine of Ayurveda) from the same university after securing a top rank in the Telangana state entrance examination.

Through her rigorous academic training, Dr. Anusha gained extensive knowledge of both classical Ayurvedic wisdom and contemporary medical sciences, enabling her to approach health from a truly integrative perspective.

During her academic years, she actively participated in state and national health service initiatives, delivering Ayurvedic care to communities in remote and rural regions of India. She also played an important role as a key coordinator in designing wellness programs and expanding Ayurvedic healthcare services for rural populations.

"I have done extensive work on Ayurvedic rheumatological conditions and submitted a thesis on pain management. Along with this, I have published various papers in national and international journals and presented at national seminars on various chronic health conditions."

With 13 years of overall experience, including over seven years of clinical practice in Australia, Dr. Anusha has supported individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. Her extensive experience has strengthened her ability to deliver personalised Ayurvedic care that respects each individual's unique constitution, lifestyle, and health goals.


Dr. Anusha has also contributed to the academic field of Ayurveda by presenting research papers at various national conferences across India, receiving recognition and awards for her contributions. Her passion for holistic healing eventually expanded internationally when she began practising in **Sydney, Australia. With over seven years of clinical experience in Australia, she has supported thousands of individuals in improving their health and wellbeing, including during the challenging times of the pandemic.
